How We Can Help

Like you, we believe all people deserve access to safe, quality care. We can help your organization as it creates a pathway to raise the bar for care delivery across the populations and communities you serve.

Joint Commission Accreditation and Certification Standards

On January 1, 2023, new dedicated health care equity standards became effective and integrated into Joint Commission hospital, ambulatory and behavioral health care accreditation programs. The accreditation standards focus on existing areas known to be essential to achieving optimal outcomes for all, including data collection, leadership and governance, and individual rights and responsibilities.

On July 1, 2023, the voluntary Health Care Equity Certification Program for hospitals and critical access hospitals was launched. This program provides the structure to ensure the highest quality care, treatment, and health care delivery for all patient groups.

Our experts can help your organization meet the new accreditation standards and provide guidance for organizations who want to raise the bar and achieve Health Care Equity Certification. Discover the different approaches we can take to meet your needs.

Gap Analysis

Our experts can conduct a comprehensive gap analysis of your organization’s programs by looking at your current state, data collection processes, document creation, prioritization and communication. Afterwards, an improvement plan is provided. Focused consultations can also be done on a specific topic or KPI as identified by your health care organization, with a gap analysis and recommendations provided.
